For more than a dozen years the Cosumnes Legacy Foundation has been supporting quality-of-life services, focusing on programs and projects related to parks, recreation, fire protection and emergency medical care. The Cosumnes Legacy Foundation is named for the Cosumnes River, the last free-flowing river within California's Central Valley, that meanders through the heart of the foundation's service area.

Under the direction of a highly-motivated Board of Directors, the Cosumnes Legacy Foundation is securing funds through private donations from individuals, corporations and foundations seeking to create an enduring legacy in the community.
